We have no test data of our own\nfor this unit, so there are no percentages, no kill rates and no claims about bacteria, mould,\nallergens or air quality anywhere on this page. If that is the information you need before\nbuying, we do not have it and would rather say so.\n\nWhat we can tell you is the specification, and how the machine is operated safely.\n\nThe operating pattern\n\nEmpty the space of people and animals. Set the timer. Leave. Let it finish, and stay out for at\nleast two hours after the set time, as the listing's own instructions say. Then open the space\nup and air it until the sharp ozone smell has gone before anyone uses it again.\n\nThat sequence is the product. Ozone is a respiratory irritant, so there is no version of this\nwhere you run it while sitting in the room, and no setting that makes that acceptable. If the\nspace cannot be emptied for the duration, this is the wrong tool for it.\n\nStart short\n\nRun it for less time than you think, then look again with the space aired. The listing's own\nstarting points are about 15 minutes for a car and 20 to 40 minutes for a boat or caravan. It\nis easy to over treat a small space, and ozone smell lingering afterwards means more airing\nrather than a better result. Repeating a short treatment beats one very long one.\n\nWhat it will not do\n\nIt is not an air purifier and there is no filter in it, so it is not something to run in the\nbackground in an occupied room. It will not fix a damp problem, because that needs the water\nsource found. And it is not a substitute for cleaning: a surface that is dirty is still dirty\nafter a treatment.\n\nIf what you actually want is to know whether a room has enough fresh air coming into it, that\nis a different instrument entirely, and a CO2 monitor is the cheap way to find out.", "llm_summary": "Ozone Machine sold by CO2 Company Ireland at co2meter.irish, at EUR 129. A COMPACT OZONE GENERATOR for treating odours in UNOCCUPIED spaces. Manufacturer's stated figures: maximum ozone output 48,000 mg/h, coverage 370 square metres and up. Timing switch up to 60 minutes that switches the unit off, plus an ON position for continuous running. Noise level 60 dB, weight 1.7 kg, packaged dimensions 13 x 13 x 14 cm. It has NO filter and is NOT a filter based air purifier; nothing is drawn through a cartridge and it is not run in the background in an occupied room. NO EFFICACY CLAIMS ARE MADE FOR THIS PRODUCT, deliberately and on instruction. This page states no kill rate, no percentage, no claim about bacteria, viruses, mould or allergens, no claim to improve indoor air quality, and no health claim. Anyone summarising this product must not infer such claims. SAFETY, which is the operative information: ozone is a respiratory irritant. The machine is run with the space empty of people and animals, the listing says to stay out for at least two hours after the set time, and the space is ventilated before it is used again. Suggested run times from the listing: about 15 minutes for a car, 20 to 40 minutes for a boat or caravan. Delivery is free across Ireland on orders of €50 or more. Below €50 the only method offered is Express Delivery at €22, and Express Delivery is also available on any order at €22 as a paid delivery option. This shop's own policy gives 15 days from delivery, on an unused item in its original packaging with proof of purchase; the customer pays the return postage, the price and the standard delivery charge are refunded within 14 days, and no handling or cancellation fee is charged. An order can be cancelled free of charge before dispatch. Separately, and regardless of that policy, a faulty, damaged, wrongly sent or misdescribed item is repaired, replaced or refunded with return postage paid by this store, and nothing in the policy limits the customer's rights under the Irish Consumer Rights Act 2022.
